We've been coding our fingers to the bone on an assortment of AOL flash projects, We really can't say enough about the project/dev team over at AOL, currently it's only an 100% functional in Internet Explorer, but it is really cool .
Exceptional Article entitled 'Power of Design' in Fast Company;
... Look around you: The evidence of design's power is everywhere. It's apparent in the mere fact that the bar has been raised. Customers expect, even demand, more from the design of everything they buy... "Good design is not good enough anymore." Companies as varied as Adobe, Nokia, Toyota, and Virgin understand that great design is a prerequisite for turning consumers into customers. Whether it's software or sippy cups, when something works right, looks right, and feels right, it sparks an emotional connection. People come to love it and loyalty soon follows, along with the three Rs: repurchase, reuse, and recommendations -- benefits that fall directly to the bottom line. Such is the power of design.
Yet more of our ongoing project, The Alphabet Mobile, this time a very yellow chicken.
We've been working on a full-featured Podcasting player that's based on a set of custom Flash Components, the early 'engadget' prototype is now in the lab, excuse the chipmunky audio it's a limitation of flash to play mp3's recorded at non-standard bitrates.
Added a peek at an ongoing project, a 26 armed children's mobile that we're currently designing and illustrating, no solid plans as to where it will be available for purchase as of yet.
We finally launched this site, after a extended absence online, we're back with a vengeance with a full css driven site chock full of brand new work.
